Infante offers unique training conditions, resulting from the combination of complete infrastructure, an excellent water stretch and an experienced, highly committed coaching team.
This combination has allowed the club to establish itself as a National Rowing Champion, with athletes winning medals in national and international competitions, reflecting the consistency and quality of the work carried out.

Training is planned with clear objectives, adjusted to the age, experience and ambition of each athlete, promoting solid and responsible progression over time.
Training model
Infante’s training model is based on international best practices. It is structured and coherent, integrating the different components of the sport in a balanced way. The organisation of the season into phases makes it possible to consolidate technical foundations, develop physical condition and prepare for competition progressively, without excessive overload.
In the younger age groups, priority is given to learning, coordination and overall development. As athletes progress, training becomes more specific and demanding, while always maintaining a sustainable, long-term approach.
Integrated infrastructure
Training conditions are supported by complete and functional infrastructure, designed to meet different levels of practice. The club has a nautical centre with direct access to the water, a boat hangar and repair workshop, ergometer rooms, a rowing tank and a gym, allowing efficient use of training time and careful maintenance of equipment. Water training takes place on the River Douro, in the Gramido area, a water stretch recognised for its stability and suitability for regular rowing practice. The characteristics of the location allow consistent sessions throughout the year, both for development and competition, naturally complementing the land-based infrastructure.
This integration facilitates the transition between technical, physical and on-water training, creating a continuous and organised working environment.

Results sustained by work
The results achieved by Infante — national titles and regular podium finishes in national and international competitions — are a direct consequence of these training conditions, the commitment of the coaching team and the dedication of the athletes. More than isolated successes, they reflect a solid project, built with rigour, continuity and ambition.
An environment of high standards and balance
At Infante, training conditions also translate into a culture of positive ambition, responsibility and team spirit. The Club promotes an environment where it is possible to train with intensity, progress consistently and maintain a balance between performance, health and well-being.
